Recent experimental changes to some side-road crossings in the City of Westminster have produced positive results. The principle of monitored trials to examine how minor adjustments to transportation and highway design road safety practice could be applied more widely.

They would include crossings at side-road junctions, crossings at roundabout junctions, crossings at cycle lanes, particularly at bus stops and more generally places where pedestrians have priority
