We are impressed by the recent changes to some side-road crossings in the City of Westminster, where trials have produced very positive results. As a result,  we suggest similar monitored trials to examine how minor adjustments to transportation and road safety practice could be applied more widely to crossings at side-road junctions, crossings at roundabout junctions, crossings at cycle lanes and places where pedestrians have priority
